Can I agree to work for less than minimum wage?

Not if your job is covered by the Employment Standards Code. It is an offence under the Employment Standards Code for an employer to break minimum wage rules in the Act, and it is an offence for the employee to work for less than minimum wage. The possible penalty is a fine up to $50,000.
