How is vacation pay calculated for salaried employees who are paid monthly?

For each week of vacation, you are to receive wages that are equal to your monthly salary, divided by 4.333.

For example:

  • If you are paid $2,000 per month, your weekly wage is: $461.57 ($2,000 divided by 4.333).


  • Therefore, your weekly vacation pay is: $461.57.


  • If you take two weeks of vacation, your vacation pay will be: $923.14.
