Alberta > Real Estate > General:

Can I put conditions on the offer to purchase?

Yes, you may make your offer to purchase conditional on many things. Some of the most common conditions are

  • obtaining a favourable building inspection report;
  • obtaining suitable financing from your bank;
  • obtaining your lawyer's approval of the terms in the offer; and
  • selling your present home if you have one.
