Making an Enduring Power of Attorney

More information on this topic is provided in a Making an Enduring Power of Attorney.

This booklet is for Albertans who are thinking about writing or changing an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA). An EPA allows you to plan for the future by appointing someone else to manage your financial affairs while you are still alive but no longer have the ability to do so.

This booklet gives general information only, not legal advice. If you need more detailed help or advice, see the end of the booklet for more resources.
