National > Divorce > Federal Child Support Guidelines:

Once a support order is in place under the Guidelines, is that the end of the matter?

No, it isn't the end of the matter. The Guidelines say that after an order is in place, the paying parent is to give the standard disclosure documents to the support receiving parent every year, at his or her request. This is supposed to be done without court involvement. However, if a parent refuses, the court will order disclosure and order the uncooperative parent to pay the cost of the application.
