How do I find the Federal Child Support Guidelines?

There are several ways to find the Guidelines:

  • You could look at your public library. The Librarian will help you find the Statutes of Canada. The Guidelines are in the regulations following an amendment to the Divorce Act.
  • You may also call the Department of Justice toll-free telephone line: 1-888-373-2222.
  • You can visit the Department of Justice Canada website, which has a number of publications, including the Guidelines.
