Is it possible that the federal Guidelines might be used in my
province by provincial courts?
Yes,
it is possible. However, these changes may not have happened yet
in your province. For example, in Alberta, the government has decided
to wait to see what the provincial court judges do about using the
guidelines. Thus, it has not yet changed Alberta's laws dealing
with child support.
