What is covered by "health care"?

Health care may include decisions about

  • any examination, diagnosis, procedure, or treatment to prevent any disease or ailment;
  • any procedure undertaken for the purpose of preventing pregnancy;
  • any procedure undertaken for the purpose of an examination or a diagnosis;
  • any medical, surgical, obstetrical, or dental treatment;
  • anything necessarily connected to any of these medical matters.
