Available in English My friend and I rented an apartment and both signed a lease saying that dogs and cats are not allowed in the building. Now my roommate wants to get a snake and I dont want to. He says that the lease allows it, so he can do it. Is that right? If the lease only mentions specifically dogs and cats, then you are not prevented by the lease from keeping snakes. It will then be up to you and your roommate to come to an agreement on whether or not a snake could be kept.
